This project focused on creating a vector portrait of Canadian artist Bill Reid. The challenge was to capture his recognizable features while interpreting them through a graphic style inspired by his artwork. The goal was to connect the portrait with Reid’s distinctive visual language rather than simply reproduce a photograph. Bold shapes, strong outlines, and a limited red, black, and white palette were used to build the illustration. The final portrait combines recognizable facial features with visual references to Reid’s artistic style.
